How We Rate Sportsbooks
Every sportsbook on WagerIQ is evaluated using the same structured methodology. We create real accounts, deposit real money, place real bets, and withdraw real winnings. Our WagerIQ Score is calculated from 6 weighted categories that cover what actually matters to bettors.
Our Testing Process
Sign Up & Deposit
We create a new account on each platform, complete identity verification, and deposit using multiple payment methods.
Test & Evaluate
We place bets across different sports and bet types, test live betting during peak hours, use promotions, and contact customer support.
Withdraw & Score
We withdraw using every available method, time the payouts, then score each category and calculate the weighted WagerIQ Score.

How the WagerIQ Score Is Calculated
Each category receives a score from 1.0 to 5.0 based on our testing. The overall WagerIQ Score is the weighted average:
| Category | Weight | Score Range |
|---|---|---|
| Odds & Markets | 20% | 1.0 – 5.0 |
| App & User Experience | 20% | 1.0 – 5.0 |
| Banking & Payouts | 20% | 1.0 – 5.0 |
| Bonuses & Promotions | 15% | 1.0 – 5.0 |
| Safety & Licensing | 15% | 1.0 – 5.0 |
| Customer Support | 10% | 1.0 – 5.0 |
Example: If a sportsbook scores 4.7 in Odds (20%), 4.9 in App (20%), 4.6 in Banking (20%), 4.5 in Bonuses (15%), 5.0 in Safety (15%), and 4.3 in Support (10%), the WagerIQ Score = (4.7 × 0.20) + (4.9 × 0.20) + (4.6 × 0.20) + (4.5 × 0.15) + (5.0 × 0.15) + (4.3 × 0.10) = 4.70.
How Often We Update
- Full re-test: We perform a complete re-evaluation of each sportsbook at least once per quarter, or whenever a major app update or bonus change occurs.
- Bonus verification: Welcome offers and promo terms are verified monthly.
- Payout checks: Withdrawal speeds are spot-checked after each re-test.
- Scores adjust: If a sportsbook improves or declines in a category, we update the score and note the change at the top of the review.
Each review displays a “Last tested” date so you know how recent our evaluation is.
Who Conducts the Reviews
